Welcome To The Practice

Important message for all patients

This is an important message is to inform all patients that Dr Batra’s Surgery will be merging with New Cross Health Centre.

This merger will take effect from 1st July 2019, although the relocation from Suite 4 to Suite 3 will not take place until the weekend of the 2nd August. This means that Dr Batra’s Practice will close for good on Friday 2nd August 2019 at 6.30pm and all GP services will be transferred to the New Cross Health Centre.  From Monday the 5th of August 2019, Dr Batra along with all his staff and Doctors will be practicing from the new location.

This also means that all patients currently registered at this surgery will automatically transfer over to the New Cross Health Centre.

As both surgeries are located on the same floor, of the same building there will not be any disruption to patient services, Also, by joining together and operating from New Cross Health Centre the merged practice will be able to offer additional services for patients. Please note all our clinicians and staff members will be moving to New Cross Health Centre and will be operating services from there.

If you are happy with these arrangements, you do not need to do anything.

However, should you wish to change your GP, you can find a surgery near you by visiting the NHS Choices website at www.nhs.uk.

Patients will receive a letter that explains the merger and its benefits. Also, to find out more, two patient engagement sessions have been arranged at New Cross Health Centre, on Thursday 11th July at 5pm, and Monday 15th July at 1pm. Do feel free to attend.

This website contains a vast range of health information and resources, along with practical information on visiting the surgery. We hope you find the website useful and informative.
